Spring Mobil

Spring Mobil was founded in 2002 by Fredrik Zetterlund and BrainHeart Capital with the aim to supply fixed-to-mobile replacement services to the Swedish SME market for telecoms, including mobilizing the PBX.

The first fixed-to-mobile replacement operator in the world

In 2002 Spring Mobil was awarded the fourth GSM license in Sweden. Full-scale commercial operations started in 2005, Spring Mobil thereby becoming the first fixed-to-mobile replacement operator in the world.

Spring Mobil has a proven ability to deliver on advanced customer requirements, e.g. for PBX functionalities, attendant services, industrial alarm handling and call centre services.

Fully owned subsidiary of Tele2

In December 2006 Tele2 purchased 49% of Spring Mobil to further the cooperation resulting from the earlier agreements for national roaming and marketing. And since May 2010 Spring Mobil has become a fully owned subsidiary of Tele2.
